Triumph at E-Health Insider Awards 2012
A programme led by Leeds' Dr Susan Hamer has won the eHealth Insider Chief Clinical Information Officer award for clinical IT leadership.
Dr Susan Hamer, who is also the Organisational and Workforce Development Director for the Clinical Research Network said:
"I am so proud to receive this award for our clinical leadership programme, for me it has acknowledged the potential of senior nurses to be actively involved in developing innovative technology enabled practice. An exciting and much needed ambition.
"The eHealth Insider awards recognise excellence in healthcare IT across organisations and projects in the public and private sector. It was a real privilege to receive the award – and was only possible due to a team of nurses from across the NHS who helped facilitate the sessions.”
