Booking for annual RIS Conference closing soon
Booking for this year’s annual Research and Innovation Support Conference, themed 'Building Successful Strategic Partnerships' will close on Wednesday 31 October.
Strategic partnerships derive deep and lasting benefits, allowing business and industry access to the Universitys internationally leading researchers, whilst providing an impact pathway for our research and innovation for the benefit of the economy and society.
Research Support is also pleased to announce that this years plenary speakers are representatives from two of the Universitys key corporate strategic partnerships: Alison Houston from Marks & Spencer and Rachel Sandham from Arup. Both will discuss the importance of the partnership their companies have with the University and the benefits that neither would be able to achieve on their own.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Arthur, will also discuss the importance of strategic partnerships to the University when he opens the conference.
The conference will take place:
On: Tuesday 4 December
In: Weetwood Hall Hotel and Conference Centre
