Horns Resounding
The horn section of the Orchestra of Opera North will be putting on a performance in the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall next Wednesday 3 October.
The horn section of the orchestra plays music concentrating on the romantic nature of the horn - the sound of which Schumann regarded as being 'the soul of the orchestra' - and the programme will feature a quartet by Reinhold Beck, written in 1909.
