Leeds welcomes home Paralympians

Join in and welcome our Leeds-based Paralympians back to the city this afternoon (Thursday 13 September), in a public celebration of their efforts and achievements in the London 2012 Games.

Claire Cashmore Paralympics

University of Leeds alumna, Claire Cashmore, who took one Bronze and two Silver medals in this year's games will be joined by a number of other Leeds-based Paralympians such as Hannah Cockroft and David Stone MBE at Millennium Square, in a final celebration of what has been the biggest and most-watched Paralympics ever. 

The event will be taking place:

At: 12.15pm

In: Millennium Square, Leeds City Centre

This is a free event and everyone is welcome.
