Paralympics: midweek update
Find out how our Leeds alumni have been contributing to Team GB's success this week and who to look out for in the final few days of the Games.
Further congratulations are in order for Claire Cashmore who helped Team GB secure a Bronze medal in the Women's 4x100m Freestyle Relay on Tuesday 4 September. Claire placed fourth yesterday (6 September) in the Women's SM9 200m Individual Medley and will compete again today (7 September) in the Women's S9 100m Freestyle and 4x100m Medley Relay.
Congratulations also go to Karen Darke who won the Silver medal yesterday in the Women's Individual Handcycling H1-2 Time Trial. She will be competing again today (7 September) in the Women's Individual H1-3 Road Race.
Good luck to both Claire and Karen, who will be attempting to take some of the last medals up for grabs in what has been a great Paralympic games for Team GB.
