Going for Gold: the end
As we say goodbye to the London 2012 Olympic Games we'd like to congratulate all of our Leeds athletes for the great performances they've put in over the past two weeks.
A separate congratulations is also in order for Ashleigh Ball and her Women's Hockey team mates who managed to secure the Bronze medal for Team GB in their match against New Zealand on Friday. They won 3-1.
Well done to everyone who competed and did their country proud. Now we look ahead to the Paralympics which will see three of our alumni competing in the Games,which begin on 29 August.
