Spring into summer with the LLC

Have you ever wanted to find out more about how to get started with creative writing? What about finding out more about Scandinavian children’s literature or the operatic works of Wagner?

Perhaps you are interested in exploring sustainable ways of living and the environment or finding out more the ‘Arab Spring’ of 2011 and its aftermath.

If so, the Lifelong Learning Centre at the University would be delighted to welcome you to their week long programme of learning-for-pleasure workshops.  These workshops are aimed at adults of any age interested in developing their creativity or increasing their cultural knowledge and will run on the University of Leeds campus from Monday 25 – Saturday 30 June 2012.  The programme includes workshops on creative writing (short stories, novel writing, crime writing, poetry, script writing and comics), film, literature, religion and social science.

See the full programme and information on how to book.

The Spring into Summer programme is a public engagement event so please do pass the information onto friends, family and your wider networks.  Places are limited, so early booking is advised.  For further information please contact Rebecca Edwards (36892).
