John Fox
We are very sorry to let members know of the death, on 29 May, of Mr John Fox who was appointed Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering in 1960.
He was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 1965 and to Reader in 1976. He retired in 1988, being re-engaged as an Honorary Lecturer until 1990.
The funeral service will be held at 11.20am on Friday 15 June at Crewe Crematorium, Cemetery Grounds, Market Close, Crewe, CW1 2NA; followed by a Humanist Ceremony at Crew Hall, Weston Road, Crewe, CW1 6UZ.
In memory of Mr Fox, the flag will be flown at half-mast on the Parkinson Building on 15 June.
