It is expected that 5,250 students will attend and a programme of entertainment including live music, DJs, stalls and rides is planned. The event will start at 9pm and finish at 6am on Sunday 3 June. The event site extends from the Michael Sadler building through to the bridge on University Road (shown on this pdf map).

There are a number of central areas which the event will make use of including University Road, University Square, the precinct and central green area, and also the piazza area adjacent to the Social Sciences building.  The precinct directly outside the Leeds University Union building will be closed on Friday 1 June from 9am until 5pm. Nearby buildings, namely the Student Refectory, Beechgrove House, Clothworkers’ Building South, Psychology and University House, will need to be accessed via Cromer Terrace or University Road. Shops in the Students’ Union building will be open as normal on Friday but will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday 2 June the buildings in the area will be accessible to staff up to 6pm on presentation of their staff identity card. Any member of staff wishing to access the site after 6pm should contact the security office on 35494 or call in to the security office at 183 Woodhouse Lane.  There is likely to be some congestion on campus near the taxi ranks and drop off points at Cromer Terrace, University Road entrance and outside the Parkinson building.
