Miss Elizabeth Williams
We are very sorry to let members know of the death, on 18 May 2012, of Miss Elizabeth Williams, former Lecturer in the School of English.
Miss Williams joined the University in 1965 and taught medieval literature in the School and the Centre for Medieval Studies. She also initiated a very successful course on Literature for Children. Miss Williams retired in 1991.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, 30 May 2012, at St Anne’s Church, Bewdley, Worcestershire. Donations in place of flowers may be made for The Home Care Team/Bewdley Medical Centre District Nurses c/o B Ince Funeral Directors, Bank House, Bewdley, DY12 2DX (tel: 01299 403105). In memory of Miss Williams, the flag will be flown at half-mast on the Parkinson Building on Wednesday.
