REF2014: Code of Practice

Following discussions at Senate, the University’s Code of Practice for REF2014 has now been submitted.

We will hear from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) by 6 July as to whether the Code meets REF requirements.

The Code of Practice can be viewed on the University's REF website. The Code (section 5 of the University's Guide to REF) explains how staff should register circumstances which have significantly constrained their ability to produce four outputs or to work productively throughout the assessment period.  A form for this purpose is available online on the University's REF2014 website, together with the full Guide.

These documents are confidential to the University of Leeds and not for circulation beyond the University.
