Strictly engineering

Want to spread the word about what engineers really do and why engineering matters? Then enter the British Science Association poster competition.

The Strictly Engineering competition brings together engineers with a passion for communication with talented graphic designers to design an eye-catching poster to bring their work to life and fight engineering stereotypes.

Entrants can attend:

  • a one-day workshop with graphic designers and public engagement experts, designed to develop their verbal and visual communication skills
  • a three-day, all expenses paid, trip to the British Science Festival in Aberdeen to display their poster as part of a special exhibition

There will be prize money for the three posters voted the best by the public.

The workshops will take place in June or July, and the British Science Festival takes place from 7 to 9 September 2012.

Applications close on 16 May 2012.
