Liane Carroll to perform with LUU Dance Band
Liane Carroll, acclaimed Ronnie Scott's Award and double BBC Jazz Award winner will be taking to the stage with the LUU Dance Band in the Riley Smith Hall on Saturday 12 May 2012.
Liane Carroll's career has ranged from selling out jazz clubs worldwide to performing with Sir Paul McCartney and Gerry Rafferty.
She will be joined on 12 May by the LUU Dance Band, a 21-piece big band which has previously won the Great North Big Band Competition and is set to perform at this year's North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam alongside Macy Gray and Van Morrison.
Tickets will be £10 in advance, or £8 for NUS members and you can book online.
