Shaping a city: talk and tour by Leeds Civic Architect

Leeds Civic Architect John Thorp MBE will be reflecting on his work in Leeds over the years in a talk and tour at the University on Saturday 28 April.

He will talk about his formative artistic influences, and work on projects that have helped to define the architecture of modern Leeds.

In:   Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery

The talk will be followed by a guided tour by John across the campus to finish up at one of the city's newest architectural additions, the M&S Company Archive, where refreshments will be served and informal tours of the building will be offered.

The event is free and all welcome. No booking is necessary but there will be limited seating so please arrive early.
