Write me a picture, with Suzannah Evans
Join Leeds poet Suzannah Evans on Saturday 30 June for a creative writing workshop inspired by the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery's 'Paper Trails' exhibition.
The workshop will focus on the stories behind the artworks and the journeys they’ve taken before finding a home in the University Art Collection.
Participants are also invited to submit their poetry to a Gallery competition running as part of National Poetry Day 2012 (4 October). The winners will have opportunity to read their work for a recording, to be placed alongside the artwork that inspired the poem. The deadline for submissions is Friday 20 July 2012.
