Join a new generation of science writers
The Wellcome Trust Science Writing Prize 2012 closes in one week. Do you have a passion for science, originality, bright ideas and a distinctive writing style?
Your 800-word article should encourage the general public to consider, question and debate key issues in science and society, and you must be able to demonstrate that you have thought about and understood your audience and can bring a scientific idea to life.
Entries should be suitable for publication in the Guardian or the Observer.
The deadline for entry is 25 April 2012.
