Miss Jillian Rennie
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 17th March, of Miss Jillian Rennie.
Jillian was appointed as Clerk in Social Studies in 1958, quickly followed by promotion to Administrative Assistant within the Registry in 1959. She became the Secretary for Public Lectures and Hospitality in 1970, an area in which she remained until her retirement in 1992.
The funeral service will be held at 1.00pm on Thursday 29 March at St Chad's Church, Otley Road, Far Headingley, Leeds, LS16 5JT, and afterwards at Weetwood Hall. There are to be family flowers only: donations in aid of Cancer Research UK and The Stroke Association will be gratefully received.
The flag on the Parkinson Building will be at half-mast on the day of the funeral.
