Different ways of seeing: photography workshop

Professional photographer and tutor Steve Rayner will lead a photography workshop on 31 March focusing on different ways of looking at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery.

The Gallery's new exhibition, Other Stories, uses 'interventions' in the form of found objects placed alongside artworks to suggest alternative ways of understanding and interpreting the University Art Collection.  In the workshop Steve Rayner will also be focusing on alternative ways of looking at the Gallery and the world around us.

The workshop will take place:

On:  Saturday 31 March 2012

At:   1.30-4.00pm

In:   Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery

The workshop is suitable for camera users of all abilities.  You will practice techniques to help you find and capture different perspectives, by photographing strange angles or juxtaposing unusual objects.  The workshop will include a feedback and review session to help you improve your photographic skills.

The workshop is free, but places are limited so please book your place in advance by e-mailing, phone (0113) 343 2778, or online.
