It's Climate Week 2012
This week (12-16 March) is Climate Week, and the Sustainability Team has a week full of great activities lined up.
Each day the pop-up climate cafe will be open from 11am-3pm in the marquee opposite LUU, where you can come along to have a chat and give us your ideas for selling the positives of sustainability here at the University. Free tea and coffee too! The pop-up cafe will also host our first academic showcase series, highlighting how the University is helping to create a more sustainable world.
There will be a number of stalls and activities throughout the week, including bird and bat box building on Friday.
Download a timetable of all the week's activities. Please circulate this or display it in your work areas where appropriate.
Just a quick reminder that Environmental Co-ordinators and Green Impact team members are welcome to a meeting on Wednesday 14 March in the marquee: 4.00-5.30pm: drinks and nibbles provided. If you are intending to come but have yet to RSVP, please let the Sustainability Team know as soon as possible so that they can cater accordingly.Posted in: University news
