Lynton Incoll, BAgrSc, PhD

Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 23rd February 2012, of Dr Lynton Incoll, former Principal Research Officer in the School of Biology.

Dr Incoll graduated as a Bachelor in Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne in 1959, and obtained his PhD from the same university in 1968.  He came to Leeds in 1969 as Research Fellow in Plant Sciences and held subsequent appointments as Research Officer from 1972 and Principal Research Officer from 1982, retiring in 2002.

The funeral service will be held at 11.40am on Monday 5 March 2012 at Lawnswood Crematorium, Otley Road, LS16 8AA.  There are to be family flowers only please.  Donations to The Prostate Cancer Charity would be very gratefully received either after the ceremony or via the following JustGiving link: http://www.justgiving.com/Lynton-Incoll

A celebration of Dr Incoll's life will be held afterwards at Castle Grove Masonic Hall, Far Headingley, LS6 4BP, to which all are welcome.

Dr Incoll is survived by his wife, Nanette, children Justine and David, and granddaughters Lucy and Holly.

The flag on the Parkinson Building will be at half-mast on the day of the funeral.
