30 years in the fair trade industry
Jeremy Piercy, pioneer of the fair trade movement and MD of Shared Earth, will be talking at Leeds on 9 March 2012 about how he has worked for the past 30 years towards a fairer future for all.
He will explore his work with fair trade initiatives overseas and the start up and continuation of his fairly-traded company, Shared Earth, and will provide insights into the UK fair trade retail industry during the current economic climate.
The talk will appeal to students and business people alike and to all those interested in fair trade, sustainability and ethical business practices.
