Volunteers needed for study of appetite
Volunteers are needed to take part in a research project examining the effects of breakfast on appetite-related hormones.
The study will involve attending the human appetite research unit for either two or four mornings. Appetite-related hormones will be measured using blood plasma, taken by a trained researcher. We require adults who:
- are non-smokers
- are aged 30-55 years
- have a BMI between 27-38kg/m2
- do not regularly exercise
The study has been given ethical approval by the NHS Ethics Committee (Number 09/H1307/7) and the Institute of Psychological Sciences Ethics Committee (Number 08398-08, approved on 10 December 2008).
If you would like to take part, or would like more information, please contact Catherine Gibbons (35753).
