Dr Michael Buchanan
Colleagues will be sorry to learn of the death, on 15 January 2012, of Dr Michael Buchanan, former Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics and Consultant Paediatrician at Leeds General Infirmary.
Dr Buchanan retired in 1984 and, following the death of his wife Jessie in 2007, returned to Scotland in 2009 to be with his family. He leaves a son, David, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial event is to be held at Weetwood Hall at 12.30pm on Friday 17 February. For details of the event telephone 0113 266 4601.
