Staff network meetings update
Meetings have been arranged in early February for the existing black and minority ethnic and lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans staff networks, and for a new disabled staff network.
Disabled staff network - initial meeting
To support the University's commitment to equality, access and inclusion for all staff, a meeting has been arranged to discuss the development of a disabled staff network.
After the successful launch of the Black and Minority Ethnic staff and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans staff networks, feedback was received that similar activity would provide disabled staff with a great opportunity to discuss practical issues and any barriers faced by disabled staff, and provide opportunities to contribute to the development of good practice across campus.

This initial meeting will explore the idea of a disabled staff network and what its membership, terms of reference and agenda might be. The meeting will explore potential opportunities to contribute to the development of University policies and good practice, to network and discuss practical issues relating to disability in a safe environment and opportunities to be consulted and be engaged with core University activities
