Reshaping the police landscape
Prof. Lawrence Sherman, University of Cambridge, will give the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies 2012 Annual Lecture, with a response by Sir Norman Bettison, Chief Constable, West Yorkshire Police.
The lecture will consider how the 'earthquakes' of sudden changes coming to the police landscape will affect the slow-moving 'glacial' changes of education, research, technology and culture in the relationship of democracy and the rule of law in policing England and Wales.
It will take place:
On: Tuesday 31 January 2012
At: 5.30pm to 8.00pm
In: Moot Court Room (LT 1.28), The Liberty Building
The lecture will be followed by a wine reception.
The lecture is free, but you will need to register. To register please contact Tracey Rogers (tel. 38094) by no later than Friday 20 January.
