Have you published a popular science book during 2011?

The Royal Society is now accepting entries for the 2012 Winton Prize for Science Books, celebrating the best of popular science writing for a non-specialist adult audience.

Books submitted for the 2012 prize must have been published for the first time in England during 2011 and be available to buy in the UK.  Full details of the eligibility criteria and an entry form are available on the Royal Society's website.

An online entry form must be completed for each entry, and seven non-returnable copies of each entry submitted to The Royal Society by Monday 6 February 2012.

The winner will be announced in late 2012 and will receive £10,000.  The five authors of shortlisted books will each receive £1,000.
