Last few places available at the Student Education Conference
Only a few places are left at many of the sessions at the University's Student Education Conference on 6 January, so do book now to ensure you are able to attend the ones that interest you most.
The theme for the day is Excellence with keynote sessions from:
- Jim Parry, Professor of Philosophy at FTVS, Charles University in Prague, who will deliver the Ed Wood Memorial Lecture on the aims of Olympism as a philosophy of excellence in both sport and education
- Recent Leeds graduate Claire Cashmore, who will be representing Great Britain in the 2012 Paralympic Games, who will address how the various forms of support she received at whilst at Leeds helped her achieve excellence both in her sporting career and academically
