Generating impact from research

Teacup meetings - monthly half-hour brainstorming meetings on how to generate wider impact from your research - will begin at 12.30pm on Thursday 8 December in the Baines Wing room 2.16.

By coming together from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, researchers can tap into the creativity and intelligence of colleagues.  One researcher brings a problem or idea to work on and colleagues participate by brainstorming possible solutions to the problem. Collegial input will help realise the potential and impact of research work by seeing things from a different perspective.

Anyone interested should contact Alexa Ruppertsberg from the FMH Enterprise and Innovation Team if you want to present a problem/idea for brainstorming.

Directions to Baines Wing room 2.16: From the main entrance of Baines Wing, go straight on past the front desk, turn right and first left. Take the lift or stairs to the second floor. Come out of the stairwell, turn right, room 2.16 is first on the left.
