Wolfson Research Merit Award for Leeds professor

Professor Piers Forster in the School of Earth and Environment has been awarded a Wolfson Research Merit Award by the Royal Society.

The scheme provides 5 years' funding for Professor Forster to continue working on climate change related issues. Jointly funded by the Wolfson Foundation and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the scheme aims to provide universities with additional support to enable them to retain respected scientists of outstanding achievement.
