The exhibition takes as its focus 'Religion in Leeds then and now' and draws upon photographs, publications and other materials now held in partnership with the West Yorkshire Archive Service.

On the evening of Thursday 24 November 2011, between 6 and 8pm, the university will be extending a special invitation to around 75 existing partners, key stakeholders and community representatives in the city of Leeds to view the exhibition and find out more about Theology and Religious Studies research on the intersections between religions, local communities and issues at the heart of public life in contemporary Britain.

The Lord Mayor of Leeds will open the Thursday evening event.
