Countdown to launch - Michael Marks Building to open in the spring
Construction of the new Michael Marks Building is on schedule and we’re pleased to report that the University and M&S teams will begin moving into the building over the next couple of months.
During November 2011 the archive team will relocate to the Michael Marks Building, focusing on internal preparations and establishing the new facility.
The official launch of the M&S Company Archive will then take place during March 2012, after which the facility will be open to students, academics and the general public.
Prior to the opening, there may be the opportunity to offer specific academics and potential user groups the chance to try out the facilities and any further details on this will follow in due course.
