ALPS-CETL update

Julie Laxton from the Faculty of Medicine and Health will be talking about the outcomes and achievements of the ALPS programme on 28 September 2011.

The HEFCE-funded Assessment and Learning in Practice (ALPS) programme created student and practitioner assessment tools for use across the health and social care professions.  The tools allowed students to collect feedback as well as the results of practice assessor, user and carer assessments.

The tools were then further developed to incorporate:

  • competency mapping
  • mobile learning and assessment
  • service users and carers
  • accessibility with an IT focus
  • ePortfolios
  • personal development planning

Julie will report on the outcomes of the ALPS programme:
