Scam warning from ISS

Staff are reminded that ISS will never ask you for your University password.

If you receive an email or a telephone call purporting to originate from the ISS, or from something similar such as the "Central Computing Department", and asking you to divulge your password or use it to log into a website, this will be a scam and will not be a genuine request.  Please remember to keep your password secret and never divulge it anyone no matter how convincing the request may appear.

If you have fallen for a scam email or telephone call and divulged your password, please inform the ISS Help Desk as soon as possible so that measures can be taken to protect your data and University systems.
