Three Leeds undergraduates all SET for success
Three Leeds undergraduates have been shortlisted for 2011 Science, Engineering & Technology Student of the Year Awards.
These prestigious awards recognise outstanding undergraduate achievement. The three students from Leeds to have made it to the final shortlist are:
Benjamin Durham - Best Biology Student for his work on novel HDAC inhibitors to prevent neural cell death
Claire McIlroy - Best Mathematics Student for her work on the break up of polymeric fluids
Charlotte Cooper - Best Pharmacology Student for her work on the orexinergic modulation of the upper airway in a rat
The winners in each of these categories will be announced at an Awards Presentation Ceremony in London on 23 September.
