Calling all cake lovers
Get a slice of the action by volunteering to judge the Staff Festival Cake Competition. You'll need to be available for a couple of hours next Friday morning to taste and judge the entries.
If you think your taste buds are up to the challenge, just clear your availability with your line manager and email us by 5pm on Wednesday 7 September.
And remember, there's still time to enter the Cake Competition. This year's categories are chocolate cake, cupcakes and novelty cake. All you need to do is pick up a cake board from University House by 5pm on Thursday 8 September, and get cooking!
The full programme for the Staff Festival will be online by the close of Monday 5 September.
All staff are invited to attend the Staff Festival which kicks off at 3pm but you can enjoy a taste of the Festival from 1pm onwards, when the craft market, fairground games and food and drink stalls will all be open. So come along with your colleagues to get some lunch and do some browsing, then come back later to soak up the full street party atmosphere with your colleagues or family.
The Festival runs until 6.30pm so there's plenty of time to watch the performances, take part in some activities or just sit back and relax.
