Internet Explorer 8 installation (10/8/11)
Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) was rolled out to PCs on campus on 9 August and will install on all PCs the first time that a user logs into them after 2am on Wednesday 10 August.
The update is needed because some features of the new version of the VLE Blackboard (9.1) will not work on Internet Explorer 7.
IE8 has been the default browser in the ISS clusters for the last academic year, and the release of Windows 7 for cluster and staff PCs includes IE8.
