Calling all bakers, cocktail inventors and charity supporters!
Here's your chance for a moment of glory at the 2011 Staff Festival.
- Cocktail competition - You can enter the all-new Staff Festival Cocktail competition if you send in your idea by Wednesday 31 August. If you've ever thought of the perfect (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) cocktail, you and your colleagues, your partner and even your family could soon be enjoying it!
- Cake competition - after the success of last year's Staff Festival cake competition, you can now choose from three categories - chocolate cake, cupcake or novelty cake. Pick up your cake board between now and 5pm on Thursday 8 September from the Catering Offices on the 1st Floor of University House and start planning the perfect cake. The novelty cake theme is the 'Staff festival' so there's plenty of time to get your thinking cap on!
- Staff Festival Charity - a big thank you to all staff who sent in their local charity recommendations. The Staff Festival team put all the suggestions into a bucket and picked out two at random.... so this year, the Staff Festival will be supporting St George's Crypt and St Gemma's Hospice.
- Stewards wanted! - if you'd like to help out on the day please get in touch with StaffFestival@leeds.ac.uk as soon as possible.
