Windows 7 and Office 2010 seminars today

ISS has produced a range of training materials to help staff who want to find out more about Windows 7 and Office 2010 in preparation for their introduction across the University.

Windows 7
From the start of the academic year 2011/12, all clusters and lecture theatres will be running Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 8. There are differences in the 'look and feel' between Windows XP and Windows 7, as well as a number of new features. These are explained in two University quick reference guides available from the Windows 7 training webpage. There are also links to W7 e-learning modules and a host of Microsoft information.

Office 2010
This year, Office 2010 will be available alongside Office 2007, but in time the principal version of Office will switch from 2007 to 2010.

ISS have produce a guide to what's new in Office 2010.
