Possible changes to the academic year at Leeds - only 1 more week to have your say

If you could change the structure of the academic year, what would you do? A key aspect of the curriculum enhancement project is to review the current academic year structure.

We want to hear your views on a proposed model, which has been developed by the Structure and Assessment Group following widespread consultation within the University and beyond.

In broad terms, the model consists of two 11-week teaching periods, supplemented by periods of guided, independent study/revision, with no formal, University-organised assessment period after the Christmas break.

Further details about the consultation can be found in the "Latest News" section of the new Curriculum Enhancement website.

Responses to the consultation need to be emailed to Chris Butcher by Friday 2 September.
