Go to hell this summer: Dante’s Inferno coming to Millenium Square

A theatre company is staging a free open-air production of Dante’s Inferno in Millenium Square tomorrow (Saturday 23 July).

The play will be putting a modern twist on the 14th century poem, which sees Dante going through the nine circles of Hell. The teenage Dante's journey will be given multi-media treatment, with the BBC big screen in the Square being used to show background imagery, animated characters and live action, and the buildings surrounding the Square being illuminated during the performance.

For anyone wanting just to watch the free performance, it will take place:

On: Saturday 23 July

At:  8.30pm-10.00pm

In:  Millennium Square
