Myers Briggs for researchers

The Careers Centre is running a session for PhD students and research staff on Tuesday 19 July, exploring the Myers Briggs test.

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is a personality indicator designed to help people gain a better understanding of themselves and others in order to work more productively and improve personal and professional relationships.

The Careers Centre session will provide you with the opportunity to explore your own type and start to reflect on the possible applications of this knowledge. It can help you understand how you and others communicate, what you can contribute to a team and will give you an insight into the way you plan and progress your career.

The session will be a mix of presentation with group discussion.

It is not an aptitude test.

If you would like to attend, please book a place via the Careers Centre online system. You will need to log on to the system with your university user name and password, then select 'Events', the session title and finally '+Book'.
