What makes a good academic leader?

Academic staff from all departments are asked to participate in an online questionnaire about professorial leadership, which is being conducted by colleagues in the School of Education.

Drs Linda Evans and Matt Homer have been funded by the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education to carry out year-long, small scale research project: Leading Professors: examining the perspectives of 'the led' in relation to professorial leadership. The questionnaire is part of this project, which aims to find out what UK-based academics, research staff and university teachers think of the academic leadership provided by their professorial colleagues.

If you're a member of the academic staff, but not a professor, please find a few minutes to complete the survey. Anonymity is guaranteed and it will only take around 5-7 minutes to complete (if no further comments are added).

Full details of the project can be found on the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education website.
