New standard for University signage
All new signage for University buildings must comply with the newly-released Signage Design Guide, and should be procured via Estate Services.
The Guide covers both internal and external signage and gives details of the colours, fonts and materials which can be used, as well as rules about logos, wording and proliferation.
The Signage Design Guide replaces the previous guidelines on the identity management webpages, and follows on from the recent external signage replacement project.
British Standard health and safety signs should still be used where applicable.
