Diet, disease and decay: public osteology workshop

Do you have a sweet tooth? Have you ever thought about the impact of a sugary diet on your body?

Come to one of the "You Are What You Ate" project bone workshops and find out for yourself how archaeologists study nutritional diseases common in past centuries as well as today.

This hands-on adult workshop will introduce you to the human skeleton and will focus on dental diseases which are caused by starchy and sugary foods, as well as poor oral hygiene. See for yourself how what we eat affects your body!
