Appointment of Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice-Chancellors
Professor John Fisher has been reappointed to the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and one new appointment and one reappointment have been made to two Pro-Vice-Chancellorships.
Following interviews earlier in the week, Professor Dawn Freshwater, Head of the School of Healthcare, has been appointed to the post of Pro-Vice-Chancellor with a portfolio covering staff and organisational effectiveness. Professor Freshwater will take up her post on 1 August 2011.
Professor Vivien Jones has been reappointed to the role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Student Education.
All the appointments are for a period of five years.
