125th Annual Christie Championships come to Leeds
The 125th Christie Championships annual inter-university sports varsity challenge is coming to the University on Wednesday 30 March.
The sporting tournament will see more than 1,500 students from the Universities of Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool battle it out across a range of sporting activities, including football, rugby, fencing, hockey and swimming. This is the closing sports event of the 2010/2011 season, and more than 50 indoor and outdoor fixtures will be played throughout the day at Weetwood playing fields and at The Edge and Gryphon sports centres
