Russell Group comments on the 2011 Budget
The Russell Group has welcomed investment in science projects announced in yesterday's Budget.
Director General of the Russell Group, Dr Wendy Piatt, has welcomed the £100 million additional capital investment for science projects and reforms to research and development tax credits and to the Enterprise Investment Scheme, but has warned that UK universities still face real difficulties as a result of capital spending cuts announced last year.
