This work is necessary as ISS will be upgrading the Exchange servers to Service Pack 2 (SP2) and the anti-virus software used on Exchange - Forefront Security for Exchange.

This will fix some outstanding known issues, ensure that we can use the latest anti-virus scan engines and that our environment remains in a state supported by Microsoft.

SP2 has been successfully tested over the last 6 months with assistance from Faculty IT staff. The latest Forefront Security for Exchange Server has also been in production on selected servers for the last 3 months without any issues.

For more information, contact the ISS Help Desk tel. 0113 343 3333.

For the latest updates on ISS services, see the Service Status page on the ISS website.
