Eye on Asia exhibition

Beautiful and unusual images of East Asia, China, Japan, the Middle East and India will be on display in Parkinson Court from 14-18 March between 10am-5pm.

Visitors to the Eye on Asia exhibition can vote for their favourite image amongst the 40 photographs on display.

The annual exhibition has been running for nearly 20 years and is entirely organised by students from the Department of East Asian Studies. This year more than 200 entries were submitted, giving the judges some tough decisions to make on which images should make the final exhibition.

"One of the aims of the exhibition is to promote Asia and Asian cultures and it certainly does this, always attracting a good audience and lots of compliments," says Dr Li Ruru, Department of East Asian Studies. "I hope that this year's event continues this successful tradition."
