Contemporary Artists' Book Fair
A fair celebrating works by national and international book artists and publishers takes place in the Parkinson Court on 11 and 12 March 2011.
A programme of exhibitions has been planned to accompany the fair, including:
- Hotel/Motel/Motet - a collaborative work based on storytelling and wordplay by visual artists Simon Lewandowski and poet Richard Price, in the Wild Pansy Press Project Space, Old Mining Building, Woodhouse Lane
- Home from Home - an exhibition of work by over 80 artists, exploring the concept of home from a domestic to a global perspective, at 153 Woodhouse Lane
- Between Shelves - exploring the relationship between libraries and reading in three Leeds libraries, including the Brotherton Library
- Where Spheres Intersect - a project by the book artists Stuart Mugridge using the art of "geocaching" with GPS technology
